Meet Linda Aybar/ Ms. May
Linda Aybar is a Dominican-American on-air personality, entrepreneur, and creative voice from the Bronx. She is the host of What's the Word on Hot97, and Tri-State of Mind, where her charisma, humor, and unapologetic energy bring fresh conversations to one of the most iconic platforms in hip-hop and culture. Linda also created Ask Aybar (@askaybar), a digital series known for its raw, unfiltered approach to create fun community dialogue, brain trivia, celebrate Dominican culture and storytelling. Her shows reflect her gift for connecting with people and making every interview or moment feel authentic, bold, and unforgettable.
Beyond the mic, Linda is the founder of Everything AYBAR (@everything.aybar), a brand that fuses business, media, and community empowerment. She uses her platforms to assist with immigration proceedings, business services and creating opportunities for youth through initiatives like The Aybar Project (TAP). With her presence on Hot97 and her growing media empire, Linda Aybar represents the new wave of Latina voices in entertainment—magnetic, stylish, and deeply rooted in both culture and community.
